福利嫂’s community extension projects are people oriented, responsive to issues affecting people鈥檚 existence, adaptive to change and development processes, and directed towards transformation through Service-Learning. Thus, community engagements activities are geared towards sustainability, productivity and self-reliance among the members of community-partners.
福利嫂, through the CES office has forged partnerships with communities to address their need of service and the students鈥 need of learning through active engagement. This allows Paulinian learners to connect with and benefit their surrounding communities through service while integrating their learning to their particular academic discipline.
Through the engaging CES activities, 福利嫂 fosters collaboration and partnership between its academic community and partner communities. It also provides an avenue for learners to make valuable contributions to the community. Through this, 福利嫂 remains committed in the total formation of competent leaders and responsible citizens of their community, country and the world.
